What do we really know about deep ocean critical minerals?

This webinar will provide a state of the scientific knowledge regarding deep ocean minerals, with a focus on those containing elements that are currently designated as “critical.” Categories of marine minerals discussed will include ferromanganese crusts and nodules, and hydrothermal minerals. Topics covered will include means of formation, distribution, heterogeneity in composition, change through time, and unknowns.
