Workshops and Town Halls

Upcoming Events

  • Submit to our COBRA Session OS001 – Accelerating Exploration and Research of the Deep Sea to Inform Decision Making convened by Beth Orcutt (COBRA Associate Director at Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences), Julie Huber (COBRA Director at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution), Russell Shomberg (COBRA Executive Committee ECR at University of Maryland), and Adam Soule (COBRA Executive Committee member at NOAA OECI/University of Rhode Island)!
  • COBRA will support travel funds for ten early career researchers in our AGU session through the COBRA Accelerator Award. ECRs interested in COBRA travel support are welcome to apply after their abstracts are accepted. AGU abstract submissions are due July 30, 2025; notifications of abstract acceptance will be sent in early October.
  • We also submitted a proposal for an AGU Town Hall focused on deep-sea ECRs, and will share that opportunity when we are notified.
